Pulmonology is a specialty that deals with lung disorders ranging from asthma, allergic rhinitis to complex lung problems. We are equipped in diagnosing and treating obstructive airway lung disorders including COPD (Chronic obstructive lung disease) and Chronic Bronchitis, variety of lung infections like Pneumonia and Tuberculosis. Pulmonary manifestations of Connective tissue and Vasculitic Disorders like SLE, Rheumatoid disease and many more, diagnosing and treating Pulmonary Thromboembolism and Interstitial lung diseases.
We also concentrate on Sleep medicine and soon will have a dedicated sleep lab where we diagnose and treat Obstructive sleep apneas. We are also equipped with Pulmonary function test like Spirometry, DLCO and Body Plethysmography which helps for early detection of lung disorders. We are experienced in Bronchoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic purpose. Our Pulmonologist has more than 16 yrs of experience and expertise in interventional Pulmonology procedures like Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy, EBUS ( Endo bronchial Ultrasound guided Bronchoscopic Biopsy ), Laser , Airway Stenting in addition to management of Pneumothorax with Intercostal Drainage Tube (chest tube) insertions and USG guided Thoracocentesis.
